Our process

How we condition your leather

Leather needs two things: a gentle clean and moisture. We do both, by hand.

  1. VacuumWe vacuum the seats and seams so no grit gets rubbed into the leather.
  2. CleanWe work a leather cleaner into the surface by hand to lift dirt, body oils and grime.
  3. WipeWe wipe the dirt away and check each seat for spots that need another pass.
  4. ConditionWe apply a leather conditioner to put moisture back in and protect the seats.

Good to know

Will my seats look new?

Most dirt and grime comes right out, and conditioning brings back a soft, even look. Some stains can’t be removed, though. A stain that has sat for a long time can change the color of the leather for good, and dyes, like from jeans, can soak deep into it.

The sooner a stain is treated, the better the chance it comes out. Conditioning your leather a few times a year also helps stop the cracking and fading Utah’s dry air and sun cause.

FAQ

Leather conditioning questions

How much does leather conditioning cost?

On its own it’s $100 plus sales tax. Added to a detail it’s $50 for a sedan, small SUV or single cab truck and $65 for a mid-size or full-size SUV, truck or minivan.

How long does leather conditioning take?

About 45 minutes of work on its own.

Can every stain be removed?

Not always. Most dirt comes out, but old stains and dye transfer from clothes can soak deep into the leather and change its color for good. The sooner a stain is treated, the better.

How often should I condition leather seats?

A few times a year keeps leather soft and helps prevent cracking, especially with Utah’s dry air and strong sun.

Do you do cloth seats too?

Yes. For cloth seats we offer car seat shampoo, from $50 with an interior or full detail or $65 on its own.

When do I pay?

We hold your card when you book and charge it only after the job is done. There’s no deposit.
